The Smalls

The Smalls is a curator of independent short film, committed to the discovery and promotion of new talent.

The Smalls launched in September 2006, with a two-day showcase and competition in Covent Garden, London, held in association with The London Design Festival and Creative Review. The showcase celebrated “Small Films for Small Screens”, displaying short films on video iPods.

After the success of the initial event, the website TheSmalls.com was launched and partners in subsequent events have included Apple, Virgin Media, Nokia, G.O.L.D and Comedy Central. The aim of the website and the events, is to create a bridge between commissioners of content from TV, film and advertising, and new talent.
